Edge Point Signal gives it the rest: where Kalshi and Polymarket prices sit against the sportsbook consensus, which markets are moving and how unusually, and a composite signal score that shows its own reasoning. Access: API and MCP access are in private beta. Request access at data@edgepointx.com: say what your agent does, which data it needs and roughly how many calls a day. People can also join the Signal waitlist for the full terminal. ### What your agent can query (MCP tools) ### Edge Point signals Start here: what Signal itself thinks is worth attention, and why — one call instead of a search, a history and an edge lookup. - `get_signal_board`: The ranked board of markets worth a look now: a 0–100 score with its parts, Kalshi price against fair value, the Polymarket gap and the scenario behind it. - `get_fair_value`: Signal’s fair probability for one market against its Kalshi price, and how many standard deviations apart they are. - `get_market_scenario`: Why a market is moving: its scenario, severity and the news headlines attached to it, with its board score and fair value. - `get_market_summary`: Price, 24-hour change, volume, open interest and volatility for one market — the cheapest “where is it and how did it move” call. - `get_news_signals`: Recent sports news and social headlines Signal has matched to markets, with source, sentiment and how many markets each touches. - `get_whale_trades`: Large Kalshi trades as they are detected: block trades, big prints and accumulation, with side, size and price. ### Markets and prices Live Kalshi markets with prices, volume and edge metadata, searchable by team, player or ticker. - `get_live_tickers`: Open markets, paginated and sortable by volume, edge, spread or start time. - `search_live_events`: Find events by team, player, title or ticker. - `get_order_book`: Ten levels of the live Kalshi order book for one market. - `get_price_history`: Kalshi, sportsbook benchmark and Polymarket prices in 5-minute buckets, up to 7 days. - `get_candlesticks`: OHLC candles from 1 minute to 1 day. - `get_candlestick_analysis`: Support, resistance, patterns and trend lines on those candles. - `get_game_score`: The live score of the game a market settles on. ### Edges and movement Where a market disagrees with other venues, and where it is moving unusually. - `get_edge_convergence`: The last snapshots of a market’s edge against the sportsbook benchmark. - `get_cross_venue_gaps`: Kalshi against Polymarket on the same outcome: widest gaps, convergence, biggest divergers. - `get_market_movers`: Biggest gainers, losers, swings and volume over a window you choose. ### Context and relationships What is driving a market, and how markets relate to each other. - `get_market_sentiment`: A 0–100 sentiment score from news and activity for one market. - `get_correlations`: The measured correlation between two markets, with the method used. - `get_market_intelligence`: Related markets and cross-event context for one market. - `get_combos_by_event`: Suggested combinations within an event, priced with correlation. ### How responses are shaped - Read-only. No tool places, changes or cancels an order. - Responses are sized for a model: an over-long result keeps its newest data and says what it left out, instead of being cut mid-way. - Every response carries its own timestamp (asOf, sampledAt or updatedAt): quote the data’s time, not the call’s. - Settled and finished markets are flagged, so a settlement price is never mistaken for a live one. - Rankings state the window and coverage they used. - Thin markets are flagged as lowLiquidity: a large move on little volume is noise. - A missing value is reported as missing, never filled in as zero. ### Read this before acting - An edge is a gap between venues, not a guaranteed profit. It can close against you. - Fees, the bid/ask spread and available liquidity can erase an edge smaller than a few points. - A benchmark priced by only one or two sources is weak evidence; Signal withholds its mispricing score in that case. - The API and MCP tools are read-only: they never place an order or move funds. Nothing Signal returns is financial advice. ## Frequently asked questions ### What is Edge Point Signal? Edge Point Signal is a prediction market intelligence workspace built to put market prices into context. Signal brings pricing, benchmarks, history, liquidity, market activity, correlation, news, and risk into one place so traders can understand what is happening before they act. ### How does Edge Point Signal work? Signal continuously ingests and organizes prediction market data, external benchmarks, historical data, and market activity. It matches related markets, tracks how they move together, and turns that data into context, alerts, correlation, scenario analysis, and risk intelligence inside one workspace. ### How is Signal different from a prediction market venue? Signal is not a prediction market venue. Venues such as Kalshi and Polymarket are where markets are listed and traded. Signal sits above the venues, bringing market data, benchmarks, history, correlation, risk, and other context into one independent workspace. ### What markets does Signal cover? Signal currently focuses on sports prediction markets across supported venues. Coverage includes major U.S. and international sports, with additional prediction market categories planned as the platform expands. ### Where does the data come from? Signal combines prediction market prices, order books, trades, liquidity, external benchmarks, historical data, news, and other market context. Edge Point normalizes and matches that data across markets so it can be analyzed in one consistent view. ### What is an "Edge"? Edge is the difference between a market-implied probability and the benchmark probability Signal is comparing it against. It is shown in percentage points and provides additional context around the market price. An Edge does not mean the market is necessarily wrong or guarantee an opportunity. ### How do Market Alerts work? Choose what matters to you and Signal monitors it. Create alerts around price, Edge, market activity, liquidity, sentiment, and other conditions, and get notified when something meaningful changes. ### What is the Parlay Builder? The Parlay Builder lets you combine eligible markets and understand the combination before you commit. Signal shows how each leg affects implied and benchmark probability, payout, EV, correlation, exposure, and scenario risk as the combination changes. ### How does Signal use correlation? Prediction markets do not move in isolation. Signal identifies relationships between markets and positions so you can see where supposedly separate outcomes may share the same underlying risk. Correlation is used across market analysis, combinations, scenario analysis, and risk monitoring. ### What is scenario analysis? Scenario analysis helps you understand how different outcomes could affect related markets, combinations, and overall exposure. Instead of looking at each market independently, Signal helps you see how risk changes when multiple outcomes interact. ### Does Signal include API access? Yes. Every Signal plan includes MCP API access: basic access on Starter (5 calls a day), MCP Advanced on Pro and MCP Quant on Ultra, with higher rate limits at each step. API and MCP access is also available on its own: API Basic is free, API Advanced is $39 a month and API Quant starts at $99 a month. Calls beyond a plan's included limit are billed at $0.015 per call, and Enterprise plans are priced to your requirements. ### What is Ask Signal / MCP? Ask Signal lets you query Edge Point data and market intelligence using natural language. MCP access is included with every Signal plan, at your plan's level, and follows the same limits as API access. ### Who is Edge Point Signal built for? Signal is built for active and professional prediction market traders who want more context than a venue alone provides. For quantitative teams, market makers, funds, and institutions with larger data requirements, Edge Point also offers higher-usage API and data access. ### How many markets does Signal monitor? Signal currently monitors thousands of active prediction markets and maintains a growing historical dataset across hundreds of thousands of markets. ### What are prediction markets? Prediction markets let participants trade contracts tied to future outcomes. Market prices reflect the probability traders collectively assign to those outcomes, creating a live view of expectations across sports, politics, economics, and more.
